Selling My Home That is Multi-Unit

Selling My Home That is Multi-Unit

Selling my home that is multi-unit is not quite the same as selling a single-family home. First of all, I have tenants. They must be notified before each showing to potential buyers and arrange to be home or to make a key available. I only have two other units besides my own, the unit where I live, but it is still quite a hassle to contact the others. It can be hard to get in touch with people now, even by text message.

Another issue is my lack of control over how the other units look, whether the tenants have picked up and cleaned up before they left for the day. It can be a disappointing surprise if a place is messy when an agent and their client arrive for a showing. Of course the agent informs me, and then I must decide if it is worth the effort to confront the tenant about their messy housekeeping.  After all, “the property must be clean at all times,” is not in their lease.

Selling My Property to We Pay Fast Investors

For those reasons and several other reasons, too, I am thinking about selling my property to We Pay Fast. They are seasoned investors with a long track record of paying cash and closing fast, even with tenants living in multi-unit properties. We Pay Fast has the team, the resources, and the business model to free me from arranging showings of my multi-unit property.

Tenants are generally allowed to stay in their rented unit and begin paying rent to their new landlord. Honestly, I do not think my tenants will care who owns this property, as long as they can continue living here.

I can call We Pay Fast at 405-521-1807 and email info@wepayfast.com with the income and expense information they require. If I leave a voice message or send an email I will get a phone call reply within 24 hours. That gives me time to get my information together and possibly tell one or both tenants I am considering a quick, cash sale of the property.
