Selling Our House Due to Mobility

We are selling our house due to mobility issues making it impossible to use the second floor. These physical challenges are not likely to be temporary, so it doesn’t make sense to stay in a house we cannot fully use and enjoy. From time to time one of our children has come back to stay with us for a few months, but they have all married and purchased their own homes now.

The top priority for us is moving into a single-level unit, perhaps a condominium. We aren’t sure about that yet but will finalize our plans in the next few days. Meanwhile, we need a buyer for our present home. We can pay cash for the new place, so we are not financially dependent on closing the sale of this house, but we simply cannot manage two places at once.
